General Government bargaining surveys coming in mail

You’ve heard the buzz – now watch your mailboxes for the bargaining priorities survey

The survey asking those covered by the General Government contract what their top priorities are for bargaining will start arriving in mailboxes later this week.

It’s been out in the field, at lunch ‘n learns and contract solidarity events for the past few weeks. It’s been hugely successful at events like June 19’s solidarity event at Labor and Industries in Tumwater where more than 400 showed up to take the survey or find out what they can do to support current negotiations for a strong contract.

The survey has gone to thousands in those one-on-one settings. But we can’t reach everyone. So it’s time for the mail version.

You can take the General Government bargaining survey online at:

The deadline to have mailed-back surveys to the Federation or to take the online version is July 9.

• The General Government Bargaining Team negotiates Tuesday and Wednesday (June 24-25) at the Thurston County Fairgrounds in Lacey.
