WE HAVE A SIGNED BUDGET! LOG ONTO THE PORTAL NOW TO ACCEPT JOBS FOR JULY 1st and 2nd!

The State of Washington 2015 – 2017 budget has been approved by the Legislature and signed by the Governor. The signing was delayed because one section of the budget was not ready yesterday afternoon, but the Legislature put it together quickly and Governor Inslee signed the full package at 11:30 pm last night. The Health Care Authority has confirmed that CTS can start accepting job requests again from medical providers for July 2015.

Providers have already input numerous appointments that are set to happen today, July 1st and tomorrow, July 2nd. Because these appointments are withing 24 hours, they are being posted as they are received. Keep an eye on your portal for these opportunities. CTS will post appointments for Friday, July 3rd starting at 6 pm today.

HCA has asked that interpreters log into the portal and accept any appointments that you are able to service. Please be aware that most of these jobs are considered last minute, so it is very important that you are paying close attention to the times of these appointments to ensure that you are able to work them.

Thank you again so much for your activism. It’s been frustrating the last few days not knowing what was going to happen, but your calls, emails and visits to legislators made the difference these past weeks. We did this together, everyone!
In solidarity,
