The Evergreen State College Classified Staff:
The team reached tentative agreement Aug. 9 on an improved contract and will soon be preparing for ratification.

The team settled on “me-too” language in compensation with whatever the General Government team achieves.

The TESC team achieved a significant increase for law enforcement personnel and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to work on safety issues to be completed prior to the implementation of the new contract.

Also:

• An MOU for a $100 lump sum to be paid to bargaining unit members on July 25, 2017 (the new contract would take effect 7/1/17).

• Another MOU discusses the childcare center and ensuring availability for slots for members of the TESC community (student, staff, faculty) so it remains an employee benefit.
