VIDEO CA Social Workers in Tacoma speak out

At a recent Contract Solidarity event in Tacoma, CA Social Workers spoke out about workload and workplace issues that jeopardize retention of workers and ultimately, child safety.

The courts have already said – and DSHS agreed – that caseloads over 18 put children at-risk. Still many experienced and new social workers are carrying caseloads in excess of 18.
